Kayseri - Atatürk House Museum was organized in the Raşit Ağa Mansion in Cumhuriyet District and opened to visitors in 1986.

Atatürk, who started the National Struggle in Anatolia, decided to transfer the (Anatolian and Rumelian Defense of Rights Association Committee) to Ankara after the Sivas Congress, accompanied by Mazhar Müfit (Kansu), Hüsrev (Gerede), H. Rauf (Orbay). ), Dr. Refik (Saydam), Hakkı Behiç, A. Rüstem, Şeyh Fevzi Efendi, their aides Cevat Abbas (Gürer), Muzaffer (Kılıç), Bedri and others came to Kayseri on a cold winter day on 19 December 1919. The people of Kayseri filled the right and left of the road until Çifte Vaults, and hundreds of horsemen poured out to meet him from afar. On Friday, December 19, 1919, Atatürk, who appeared with his car and his friends next to him, was greeted with enthusiastic demonstrations by the people of Kayseri, İmamzade Raşit Ağa, the most flamboyant mansion of Kayseri in those days.

Atatürk, who spent the night in this house, had meetings with the notables of Kayseri the next day. He stayed in Konak that night. He left Kayseri on the morning of December 21, 1919.

The house where Atatürk was a guest was built in about 1898 as a two-story building. The ceiling is wooden. Atatürk's room is on the second floor and southeast of the house. In the middle of the ceiling of the room, there is a starry core ornament and a ottoman leaning against the east wall. This floor of the house also has a hall, four rooms and a bathroom. The following plaque was hung on the wall of the room where Atatürk stayed: (Atatürk, as the Head of the Representative Committee, stayed in this house when he visited Kayseri on 20.12.1919. 20.12.1964). The house has been counted as one of the antiquities that need to be protected with a decision taken by the High Council of Real Estate Antiquities and Monuments.

Raşit Ağa Mansion was expropriated and repaired by the Ministry of Culture in 1978. The first floor of the building was arranged as the Fine Arts Gallery. On the upper floor, photographs, documents and belongings related to Atatürk are exhibited.
