Antalya - Atatürk House and Museum
The mansion, which belonged to the governorship in the first years of the Republic and was allocated to Atatürk during his visits to Antalya, was used by the Special Administration after Atatürk's death. In 1939, it was used as the Evening Girls' Art School and Girls' Institute building. The mansion, which was transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture in 1952, has been used as the offices of the Technical Agriculture Directorate until recent years.
Atatürk Museum was allocated to the Ministry of Culture in 1984 to be built and to keep his memories alive. Since the street remained on the street during the implementation of the city's new zoning plan, and the same building, which was destroyed, was rebuilt by pulling back a little. Rectangular planned, two-storey, two-sided, stone-brick walled building with a tile-covered hipped roof, it has been serving as the Atatürk House and Museum since 1986.
In the museum downstairs; There are newspaper clippings and pictures about Atatürk's arrival in Antalya, a barcovision room where a documentary about Atatürk's visits to Antalya can be watched, the office and the dining room at the entrance hall.
On the upper floor; There is a bedroom, two study rooms and a separate section where the coins and paper money, stamps and commemorative coins printed from the establishment of the Republic of Turkey to the present are exhibited. Atatürk slept in the room opposite the stairs on the upper floor.
The Museum Room, where Atatürk's personal belongings, brought from the Anıtkabir Command, are exhibited, is one of the most important parts of the Museum.
