Akşehir - Western Front Headquarters Museum, The two-storey historical building, which was used as the Municipality Office in Akşehir until 1965, was opened to visitors in 1966.

The Headquarters Museum building was built as a mansion in 1905 and was used as a Municipality and District Governorate before the War of Independence. During the years of the War of Independence, the Western Front Headquarters was moved to Akşehir on November 18, 1921, and this building was used as headquarters for 9 months and 6 days until August 24, 1922. Atatürk, together with his comrades in arms, made the preparations for the Great Attack here, and decided the date of the attack here.

The upper floor rooms in the form of the building used as a municipality after the War of Independence (the room where Mustafa Kemal Pasha from the Commander-in-Chief gave the attack order, the Study Room of the Western Front Commander İsmet Pasha, the Western Front Military Chief Asım Pasha) Atatürk Room was arranged with items such as tables, armchairs and carpets that were used in those days, each marked with a plate. Upon the transfer of Akşehir Municipality to its new building, the Headquarters building was transferred to the General Directorate of Antiquities and Museums, then turned into a museum.

Atatürk's belongings are exhibited at the entrance of the Western Front Headquarters Museum, which was reorganized in 1981. A "Veterans Corner" is also organized here.

On the upper floor, there are Atatürk, İsmet İnönü and Asım Gündüz rooms. A separate room is reserved for aides. On the panels in the hall, historical events from the Battle of Sakarya to the Great Offensive were described with text and photographs, and sketches were exhibited. In addition, a rifle as a Victory Gift to Hacı Bekir (Sümer), who was a deputy from Akşehir during the War of Independence, and photographs of the officers working in the headquarters can be seen in a special room.
