Atatürk's Executive Car, Cadillac 80 Series - 1936

The 1936 model Cadillac brand special car gifted to Atatürk by Türkiye İş Bankası is still on display at the Anıtkabir, 23 Nisan Tower. Atatürk used this car between 1936-1938. After his death, the vehicle continued to be used. In 1959, the Ministry of Finance donated this car to Anıtkabir. The 12-cylinder engine of this old Cadillac 80 series is 6.8 liters and produces 150 HP. The front console consists of a few simple buttons and indicators. The clock on Cadillac's round-rimmed instrument cluster is set to 09:05. The 12-cylinder engine is one of the most powerful of its time. The car has Ankara Special 0645 (AH0645) license plate.
