HISTORY: The monument was opened with the speech of Mehmet Emin Bey, Head of Education and Training Department of the Ministry of National Education, after the opening ceremony of the Atlı Atatürk Monument in front of the Ethnography Museum (Anonymous 1927 d: 1).
DESCRIPTION: This monument consists of a plain, rectangular prism-shaped base surrounded by bronze garlands and a figure of Atatürk.
Atatürk is depicted standing, wearing a hood. He can be described as a victorious commander with Atatürk's dress, stance and facial expression, who grasps the hilt of the sword he is holding on the axis of his body with both hands and is shown looking away with a calm facial expression.
