THE STORY OF A PHOTO

The unprecedented photograph that Atatürk signed and presented to Kılıç Ali on January 6, 1932.

Let's share the memory of Atatürk's close friend Kılıç Ali with a photograph signed by Cemal Kutay.

After Atatürk, who was very careful about his clothes, said that the overcoat he was wearing in the photo above suited Kılıç Ali:

He said , "Then call Kenan and let's pose in the garden!.." He found Photo Kenan Erginsoy in Kılıç and took the photo above. Kilic Ali said:

" .... There was a sweet, sincere, innocent rivalry between us and our friends over Atatürk. I asked him not to give it to anyone other than the photograph he signed. He laughed. "Let's think..." he said.

Before, I only had the photos and I was bragging about it. After a while, I saw it in Salih, Cevat Abbas and Recep Zühtü. And how: All three of them invited me to dinner at Salih's house: The photograph, signed by all three, was standing in front of me side by side."

When I told Ata the incident, he smiled.

"You all love me, and I love you all." Said."
